What stays on your device
Your settings (sound, rumble strength, motion, quality) are saved in your browser's local storage so they're remembered next time. They never leave your device. You can clear them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
What your browser loads
- This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.
- Launch and weather data come from a copy stored on this same website. Your phone does not contact The Space Devs or NOAA directly.
- Webcast video (only if you tap "Watch the real webcast"). For some providers, the official YouTube video plays here using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once it plays, YouTube/Google may collect data under the Google Privacy Policy. For SpaceX, the button opens X (x.com) in a new tab, and X's own policies apply there. Nothing loads from YouTube or X until you tap.
Vibration, sound and motion
Sound and vibration only start after you tap. On Android, the page uses your browser's vibration feature, and you can turn it off or change its strength. The page respects your device's "reduce motion" setting. Nothing on your phone is changed.
Children
Launch Deck doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
