Data
- Launch data: The Space Devs, Launch Library 2 API (launch times, status, holds, mission timeline, webcast links, launch-weather percentage). Used under their terms of use. They don't guarantee accuracy, and neither can we.
- Pad weather: NOAA / National Weather Service, AviationWeather.gov METAR observations (US Government work, public domain).
- Coastlines (map and ocean side): Natural Earth (public domain).
- Sun position: computed with SunCalc (BSD-2-Clause).
Images and 3D
- Sky lighting (Ultra): "Kloofendal 43d Clear (Pure Sky)" by Greg Zaal and "Qwantani Dusk 2 (Pure Sky)" by Greg Zaal & Jarod Guest, from Poly Haven, CC0 (public domain).
- Rocket, launch pad, tower, cabin, clouds, smoke, exhaust and Earth are generic models and textures made in code for this site. No third-party models, photos or logos are used.
- Sounds: every sound is generated live in your browser with the Web Audio API. No recordings are used.
Open-source software
- three.js (MIT License), including its Sky shader (Preetham sky model) and RGBE loader.

What's real and what's simulated
Real: launch time, status, holds and scrubs, the mission timeline, launch-weather percentage, pad weather and the sun's position. Simulated: the 3D views, the flight path, and the altitude, speed and g-force numbers (always labeled SIMULATED), plus the sound and rumble. There is no live telemetry.
